DiSTARS Platform

The DiSTARS platform is an innovative digital tool designed to seamlessly integrate Art and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) through interactive storytelling and immersive technologies, with a special focus on space exploration. It provides educators and students with a dynamic environment to create, share, and explore stories that blend scientific concepts related to astronomy, space technology, and the universe with artistic expression.

By utilizing Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies, the platform offers engaging, hands-on experiences that make learning about space both captivating and meaningful. Users can create interactive narratives that incorporate multimedia elements such as images, videos, 3D models of planets and spacecraft, and animations that illustrate complex space phenomena. These narratives not only communicate sophisticated STEM ideas but also encourage students to think creatively and critically.
